Now a few details: I have a 97 528i. today my coolant level was at "cold", but I wanted to check the level in the water pump bleed screw. removed screw. the coolant was low. added coolant in res until it flowed out of bleed screw. tighten screw. now the fluid is much higher than "cold" in the res.
